Why did the poor dog chase his tail? He was trying to make both ends meet! While there hopefully won’t be any jokes as bad as that one, the 30th Annual Bark in the Park will offer tons of activities for you and your pup to enjoy!
On March 25th from 11am-3pm, Curtis Hixon Park will turn into a puppy paradise! Sponsored by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, this lovely event will be fundraising for the animal and pet festivals with all proceeds benefiting homeless pets at the Humane Society. There will be more than 70 vendors and rescue groups to teach you and kids about the importance of adopting and offering new and creative ways of volunteering! Get your fill at the craft beer, wine, and food trucks then head on over to the pet costume contest, doggie fun zone, and pop-up dog park, all while listening to live music by Stereo FM. You can also take the little ones to get their faces painted or get their very own balloon replica of their beloved pup!
Fox 13’s Jennifer Epstein, Lindsay Milbourne, and Walter Alien host the entire event and tickets are $20 for non-fundraising participants.
The Human Society of Tampa Bay is “dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need.” They offer services like adoption, pet surrender, lost and found pets, food assistance, animal hospitals, volunteer work, and more!
