Friday, October 6:
Dough Nation Grand Opening in Tampa, 11:30 am-10:00 pm | Cookie dough lovers, rejoice! Dough Nation, a new sweet spot for you to indulge your sweet tooth while supporting a great cause opens on Friday, October 6th! Celebrate from 11:30 am-10:00 pm to at the shop located at 505 N. Tampa Street in downtown Tampa! Your favorite flavors will be ready for scooping like chocolate chip, dark chocolate, and s’mores. Gluten free and vegan options available! Creatures of the Night opening night at Lowry Park Zoo | Return to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo for a Halloween event even spookier than last year. Ghouls and goblins of all ages can watch the zoo transform into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family. Saturday, October 7:
Longo’s Cove Grand Opening at Great Explorations Children’s Museum in St. Petersburg, 10:00 am-11:30 am | Join Great Explorations Children’s Museum and Jaime and Evan Longoria for the grand opening of the museum’s newest exhibit, Longo’s Cove! The ribbon cutting is at 10am. Stay for the party which will feature music by DJ Fresh , Tampa Bay Rays street team and Raymond, Kahwa Coffee, brunch snacks by Chick-fil-A 4th Street North and so much more! Admission will be free during the event–until 11:30am.
Busch Gardens Sesame Street Kids’ Weekends Halloween celebration: Opens Saturday, October 7! | Say hello to Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and many more Sesame Street friends for Halloween at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! Enjoy trick-or-treating, music and a chance to get up close with the park’s animal ambassadors. There will be themed parades and dance parties and a so much more! 14th Annual Pumpkin Palooza Fall Festival in St. Petersburg, 11:00 am-4:00 pm | Pack up the whole family for a day of fall fun at this GWFC St. Petersburg Junior Woman’s Club event held at Northside Baptist Church in St. Pete. The event offers a pumpkin patch, kids’ games, face and hair painting, inflatables, food and treats, arts and crafts vendors, and more. Admission is free. Straz Center for the Performing Arts Totally 80’s Open House Party, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm | Party like it’s 1980 during the Straz Center’s 30th anniversary celebration! St. Pete Dance Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with a Thrilling Twist, 1:00 pm | Learn and practice your best Thriller dance moves with Saint Pete Dance Center and Thrill St.Pete during a Thriller flash mob dance.
