2017 Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival


Tampa Bay is one of the state centers for art, culture, and music of all mediums. People from all over the country come to enjoy all the area has to offer, and for 10 days Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will turn into the 2017 Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival in honor of Black History Month!

Join hundreds in enjoying the many activities and performances during this historic week. The Music Fest portion of the festival is January 21 and 22, which will be featuring performers from all over the country! Kick back while you listen to the sweet and smooth jazz tunes of David Sanborn and The Dazz Band. The Voice Season 5 contestant R. Anthony will be one of the headliners, giving audiences the chance to listen to his performance of “Hall of Fame”. There will also be many acoustic and spoken word artists joining headliners on these exciting two days.

Music is not the only thing to enjoy at this festival! Areas within the grounds, called villages, will sure to round out the entire experience! The Artists and Authors Villages will feature local pieces of art and literature. The Children’s and Health and Wellness Villages will make learning fun for kids and adults alike! Businessmen and women gather at the Corporate and Technology Villages to see up and coming projects in Tampa Bay.
