Support art in St. Petersburg schools at the Art Ties Us benefit gala via a fabulous night of food, cocktails, and artwork.
Spend a night with the artists for a good cause at the inaugural Art Ties Us Gala on July 27th. The Birchwood in Saint Petersburg will feature a live silent art auction, selling 10 of the top winning artists work from the Art Ties Us contest. The proceeds will be distributed to local artists, retaining 50% of the proceeds from their work, and the rest will be donated to the Public Art Project.
The Public Art Project is an organization that works with artists, local businesses, government, and more to make advances in the usage, funding, and display of public art. With money raised from this event, The Public Art Project intends to help elementary schools and students use art programs to further academic and social achievements.
Individual tickets to the casual cocktail event cost $125, but it’s more than just admission to an art auction. This special evening will also provide an open bar to guests and food from six top Bay area restaurants. This includes entrée samplings from top local restaurants such as The Birchwood’s own Birch and Vine, but also 400 Beach Seafood and Tap House, The Mill, and 1200 Chophouse.
Tickets and more information about the gala are available here.
