Summer’s cooler than ever at ZooTampa! With so much to do and see, we’re sharing a few of the coolest things to put on your summer bucket list.
And with ticketing options including annual memberships where the whole family plus a guest can come back for a full 12 months, or Pay for a Day where you can come back through the end of 2019, the opportunities for fun at the Zoo are endless! Plus, now through 8/31/19, Teachers and First Responders can get in FREE with the purchase of a single-day ticket*
Inside the Manatee Mangrove, you will feel as though you’ve gone underground as you get nose-to-nose with these beautiful and slow-moving creatures. But don’t wait—our manatees don’t live at the Zoo, they are on the road to recovery and release to their native waters!
You can get nose-to-horn with an Indian or Southern white rhino, touch an African penguin or Aldabra giant tortoise and snap the perfect photo with an adorable koala.
Take a stroll down the shaded boardwalk in the Florida Realm—home to native Florida species than any other Zoo. You’ll find playful river otters splashing and swimming, rescued Florida Panthers like Walter who sustained a partial amputation due to a car strike, snoozing Florida Black bears, skunks, Sandhill cranes, flamingos, owls and more!
A perfect spot for parents to rest and recharge while even the littlest Adventurers cool down and run around. With spray zones, dump buckets, shaded seating, and Boomers – a grab-n-go grill restaurant, the whole family can enjoy this must-visit summer spot. (Bonus cool: grab an Australian Icee from Boomers right next door.)
The whole family can hop aboard a boat and travel along the crystal-clear water to a chilling, thrilling, and refreshing 3-story plunge into crystal clear water on this new wild ride! Not so adventurous? Guests can watch the fun and get soaked by the splash on Lookout Landing.
So come on down to ZooTampa and make this the WILDEST summer yet! Visit ZooTampa.org for more info.
