Clothes to Kids, Inc.: How Your Family Can Help Local School Students

Clothes to Kids, Inc. started with one purple coat.

Jode Frisbie Eye and Marie Bouchard McClung, created the non-profit organization out of a passion for helping children in need.

Their idea was to provide a cheerful store environment where families and children could shop with dignity and respect and receive school clothing free of charge.

More than 175,000 kids in the Tampa Bay area are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. These are the students who shop with us.

Research shows that children who go to school wearing clothes that make them feel like they fit in perform better academically than those who do not. We want all of our kids to go to school feeling good about themselves, ready to learn!

Clothes To Kids, Inc. operates in the Tampa Bay area serving both Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties with stores located in Clearwater (2003), St. Pete (2009) and Tampa (2018).

To date, we have distributed more than 142,000 wardrobes to kids in our communities, all free of charge, but we cannot do it without your help! Clothes To Kids needs Y-O-U!
