Superintendent Jeff Eakins will be hosting several town hall meetings throughout the county, beginning next week, to talk about the November 6 education referendum and inform voters about our schools’ needs and the positive impact a half-penny sales tax referendum would have on our students, schools and community.
During the town hall meetings, Superintendent Eakins will also share information about the state of our school district, exciting opportunities for our students, and the $2 billion challenge our community faces because of inadequate state funding. Each meeting will provide families, district employees and community members the opportunity to get their questions about the referendum answered — straight from Superintendent Eakins. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
