When I think about Mother’s Day and the reasons we celebrate motherhood, and what makes the relationship between a child and their mom so sacred, I think of selfless acts that nurture; surroundings that are safe and breed confidence; and an unwavering demonstration of love and devotedness.
I’m lucky to know so many exceptional mothers in the Tampa Bay area. Being connected to some of the best female business leaders through the KNOW Book + Tribe, I have watched many of these women achieve tremendous success both outside and inside their homes.
It is my sincerest honor to share the stories of two women who inspire me daily and who I believe embody the very ideals that Mother’s Day is intended to observe and distinguish.
Lauren McComb Chamberlain

The Mommy Spot Tampa Bay
Christina Campbell is the “mom boss” behind The Mommy Spot, a website and events company for moms in Tampa Bay. With her love for all that encompasses motherhood and her native city of Tampa, she knew that launching this resource in 2014 would be a no-brainer.
The Mommy Spot has quickly grown to be a fun resource hosting events all over Tampa Bay including their baby expo, The Tampa Bay Baby Bash, and their 5th annual Noon Year’s Eve event that provides families a fun dance party with a juice toast at noon.
Between juggling three kids and planning events, Christina has also evolved into a mommy expert. You’ll find her sharing the latest and greatest in baby gear or fun local picks on a morning news show or Facebook Live.
With the success of the local website, Christina will be launching The Mommy Spot’s national website this year.
