LEGOLAND Florida opening a new VR coaster in March!

By Laura Byrne

The first virtual reality roller coaster designed with kids in mind is making its debut at LEGOLAND Florida next month on Friday, March 23!

LEGOLAND FloridaThe Great LEGO® Race is a “high octane” adventure you don’t want to miss this year!

Wearing the virtual reality headset is totally optional, but definitely adds to the experience of the ride as your kids board a rocket-powered windsurfing rig, a stylish scooter fueled by espresso (um, yassss!) or a canopied bed (called a “litter”) carried by mummy servant.

They’ll then be transported into an animated action-packed experience featuring their beloved LEGO minifigure characters as they race against a pirate, wizard, surfer and pharaoh by ground and in the air! It’s a one of kind experience they won’t get anywhere else!

In order to experience this new coaster, guests must be at least 42 inches tall or be accompanied by an adult who is at least 48 inches tall. It’s best for kids ages 6 and older.

The unveiling of the new ride will be made even sweeter with the addition of the Funnel Cake Factory just a few stesp away from the new ride where your kids can order freshly made funnel cakes with toppings of their choice like fresh fruit, powdered sugar and ice-cream.
