*Many pumpkin patches have closed for the season, but a few may still be open. Check with each location before you head out the door to ensure they are open and have pumpkins.
We are sharing our TOP PICKS of must-experience pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Tampa Bay, but keep in mind things are different this year due to COVID-19.
In most cases, you will need to buy an advanced ticket online (and buying a pumpkin patch pumpkin is often extra) and may have to wear a face mask. Since a pumpkin patch is an open-air event, it’s a great option for families looking for a safe way to celebrate the season.

Come out for a fun fall tradition and stroll the fields of this year’s corn maze and pumpkin patch at Harvest Holler Farm, a working family farm! You can explore the pumpkin patch, go on a hayride, meet live farm animals and more! There’s also a cow train, corn hole and many more activities besides just the pumpkin patch. You’ll want to pre-purchase a ticket online to secure your spot in the biggest corn maze in Hernando County and a great pumpkin patch, a stone’s throw away from Tampa Bay! Limited walk-up tickets will be available, so plan ahead so you don’t miss out on the maze, pumpkin patch and family-friendly attractions. Bring some extra cash here too in case the little ones decide they want to participate in gem mining or even pick out their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch’ for your home at their pumpkin patch! They are asking guests to bring a face mask and social distance when you are there. You can also pick up a yummy homemade pie and even feed goats in the goat pen. Hyde Park Village in south Tampa is bringing back its popular pumpkin patch benefiting the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The Brooksville pumpkin patch has hundreds–if not thousands of pumpkins–to choose from! The farm says most of their pumpkin deliveries are a few days off the vine, so they should last you through the holiday…and maybe even grab some cute ones for decor for Thanksgiving. We are loving this unique spot where you can take a picture with Florida’s largest pumpkin, weighing in at 1,000 pounds! You can’t take that pumpkin home, but they have plenty more for you to choose from their pumpkin patch! They also have flowers and other produce to browse outside of their pumpkin patch. The Florida Railroad Museum is calling “all aboard” for young and old train enthusiasts as you embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express to a field full of pumpkins to pick, as well as kid-friendly activities on your 2-hour journey. Trains will run at 50% capacity to ensure room to social distance. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in other crafts and activities. A quick hop down to Sarasota to check out Fruitville Grove’s 32nd Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival might be just the change of pace and scenery you and your bunch of little pumpkins need! Held every weekend throughout October, it includes fun family-friendly activities, a butterfly garden, pony rides, and of course, a Pumpkin Patch! Parking costs $5 but admission is free. in Sarasota will host the event every weekend in October. The festival includes family-friendly activities from a butterfly garden to pony rides!
