Dinos Alive! at Lowry Park Zoo: Open through August  Head to the Jurassic and Cretaceous Eras at this unique exhibit at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. Art of the Brick Tampa: Through Sept. 4  Check out what has been deemed the world’s largest display of LEGO art when the touring exhibit by Nathan Sawaya comes to Tampa Bay courtesy of the Vinik Family Foundation and available for viewing at 802 E. Children’s Board Free Tuesday at Glazer Children’s Museum: Aug. 1, noon to 7 p.m.  Take advantage of a free admission promotion at Glazer Children’s Museum. The event aligns with the Children’s Board’s mission to promote the well-being of children and families. Back to School Health Fair: Aug. 5, various times  Bring your children to one of three free health fairs offered through Hillsborough County Schools. Fairs take place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Leto High School in Tampa; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blake High School in Tampa; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 9455 Harney Road in Thonotosassa. Free physicals are available for kids in grades K-12 and free immunizations for Medicaid or uninsured children. Summer Classics Movie Series at Tampa Theatre: Aug. 6, 12-13, 20 and 26-27, 3 p.m.  Relive cinematic classics at Tampa Theatre as its popular summer film series comes to a close. This month, guests can see “Reservoir Dogs” (Aug. 6), “The Wizard of Oz” (Aug. 12-13), a sing-along screening of “Grease” (Aug. 20), and “Casablanca” (Aug. 26-27). Quack to School!: Aug. 12, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Watch thousands of rubber ducks race down the Hillsborough River as part of the Kiwanis Incredible Duck Race by Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa. Solar Eclipse Fun at Temple Terrace Library: Aug. 12, 2-3 p.m.  Meet astronomer Tanja Diederich for a talk about how to view the sun safely during an actual solar eclipse that day at this event hosted by Temple Terrace Public Library in Tampa. Totally Tots at Great Explorations: Aug. 14-18 and 21-25, various times  Take the little ones to Great Explorations in St. Petersburg for two weeks of activities designed just for toddlers and preschoolers. The program includes special guests from the community to share information, resources and fun activities. Toddler Takeover at Glazer Children’s Museum: Aug. 20, 1-6 p.m.  Bring the toddlers to Glazer Children’s Museum for two weeks of specialized programming designed just for them as part of the Museum’s partnership with Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County and Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. Warriors for Autism – Sensory Warriors Program: Aug. 5, 12, 19 and 26, 11 a.m. – noon  Learn about adaptive martial arts training at Warrior Fitness & Sensory in Tampa with programming designed for children on the autism spectrum and their siblings in a safe and supportive learning environment.
