Our Favorite Back to School Must-Haves for 2020

Back to School shopping is a different experience this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic with many new additions to the list like cloth face masks and extra hand sanitizer.

Whether you are opting for eLearning or virtual learning, or sending your child back to the classroom, we’re sharing some of our favorite things for 2020 to get kids ready for back to school!

Funkins

Funkins Lunchboxes, placemats, and face masks: We like this brand because everything is machine washable which is going to be key during a pandemic. Normally we’d say placemats are not must-have, but if your child has to eat lunch at their desk in the classroom or even a shared cafeteria, the placemat is an extra layer of protection between the table and their food. The brand also makes two types of face masks: fitted and pleated with matching patterns to lunch boxes, napkins and placemats–for those who are really into matching! myfunkins.com

pixel eyewear blue light blocking glasses

Pixel eyewear: Perfect for the e-learner, the trendy blue light blocking eye glasses will not only help prevent eye strain, but they’re super cute too. There are several different colors to choose from! Unlike some competitors, the lens is clear and does not hamper vision. The lenses are also anti-glare and offer 100% UV protection as well. They also make blue light blocking glasses for adults! pixeleyewear.com

coraluv sanitizer back to school must haves

CoralUV sanitizer: This is actually a countertop baby product designed to sanitize and dry baby bottles, pacifiers and toys, but it has an added use to now and can be used to sanitize keys, phones, face masks, wallets, and more. UV sanitizers are a big thing now, but this product is different because it has replaceable bulbs unlike most products on the market that are no good once a bulb burns out. It’s the same size as most countertop steam sterilizers and has multiple settings. We keep ours in the office for employees to sanitize masks, phones and so on. coraluv.com

superbee wax wraps

SuperBee Wax Wraps: This is another germ deterrent for the lunch box and even for home use. The wax wraps are basically a sheet of organic cotton fabric coated with sustainably harvested beeswax, organic coconut oil and tree resin. The best part is, they can be rinsed and reused! The beeswax offers an added layer of protection since it is naturally antibacterial. The wax also allows the sheet to easily wrap around your food or food containers. The sheets come in several sizes and patterns too! superbee.me

UnPlugged Books:

Unplugged Play: Toddler 155 Activities and Games for Ages 1-2
