Are your kids excited about the Olympics? Instead of just watching the Olympics your kids can show off their athletic skills by competing in several bay area events. If your kids are more interested in learning about the history behind the Olympics, several museums will be holding educational sessions teaching kids about the Olympic sports and athletes.
MOSI Summer Games
now through August
Kids can go for gold at MOSI’s Summer games as they compete in the eleven Olympic events. Families are invited to come join Team MOSI and work as a family to compete in this worldwide athletic experience. Each kid who participates can get a medal made of simulated californium to take home.
GCM’S Summer Olympic Days

Join the Glazer Children’s Museum for different Olympic events hosted each day. On August sixth at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. kids can learn about the Brazillian Capoeria musical martial art form that combines martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics.
