Yes. You CAN Cut Your Own Christmas Tree in Tampa Bay!

At least once before your kids grow up, head to Ergle Tree Farm in Dade City to cut down your own Christmas tree in Tampa Bay! You and the kids will never forget this experience!

It’s coming at us fast! The days until Christmas Eve are winding down quickly, so we have to ask…have you picked out your Christmas tree yet? If you are looking for a unique way (by Florida standards) to find the perfect tree, why not cut your own?!?

Seriously, you really can cut down your very own Florida Christmas tree!

Ergle Tree Farm

Our Family Fun contributor Heather DeManche and her kiddos recently visited Ergle Christmas Tree Farm in Dade City and gave us the goods on this one-of-a-kind experience for the family.

Take your time perusing the fields of Cedar, Sand Pine or Carolina Sapphire to cut down with a hand saw provided by the farm.

The farm also offers both potted and northern pre-cut trees, as well as fresh made wreaths and Christmas cacti.

While capturing the memories with your family cutting down your Christmas tree, also be sure to take a ride on the make-shift sled ride pulled by a tractor, see the farm animals and stop for a photo opportunity with Santa and his reindeer.

Oh, and for you savvy saving parents, Ergle Farm even offers a printable $2 off coupon on their website.
