Join us this summer for our string chamber ensemble, perfectly curated toward audition skills for bowed string players. Whether your student aspires to be first chair or is nervous for their first placement audition, our team has the tools your child needs for success!
We will balance fun and well-rounded musicianship with intensive audition prep to propel each student toward their personal goals as a musician. Students will spend time in sectionals, work as a large group and receive one-on-one instruction from our amazing teaching team. Plus we will spice up the week with intermittent master classes and opportunities for students to dabble in new styles, such as fiddling.
Held at CAVU TPA – 1601 N Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602
Spend the week with specialists in vocal training, dance technique and acting to get your moment in the spotlight! This camp is geared toward students of all skill levels and focused on audition strategies and performing confidence.
Our amazing teaching team will work with the group and one-on-one with students to develop proper vocal technique. This will give each camper greater control of the voice and more possibilities in selecting audition pieces.
Additionally, we will assist in monologue selection to prepare students for the fall audition season at their schools and theater organizations.
We will also feature dance steps commonly used during auditions and evaluations. If students are already familiar with steps and sequences, no nerves can shake them. Plus they will learn the familiar steps faster.
Held at Community Roots Collective – 2746 N Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33602
Join us for Tampa’s only interactive parent and child music class geared toward pre-school age children! Your child may not be ready for a one-on-one, half hour music lesson, but you know he or she loves music. Plus, you guys are outgrowing the sing along class, full of one year olds.
We will explore the music education concepts of pitch and rhythm. And our teachers will utilize your child’s natural strengths and skills to recommend an instrument of focus and fun, at home experiences to encourage the love of music for your little one.
Held at GradePower Learning – 3212 Lithia Pinecrest Rd #102, Valrico, FL 33596
If your child loves music, but you’re not sure what instrument to start off with, this camp is for you! Your child will have the opportunity to try out the guitar, piano, singing and percussion instruments every day of the week. Our teachers will use each instrument to teach general music theory and proper technique as well, so your student will come back with a more qualified music education as well!
We will present a talent show on Thursday, a grand finale on Friday and a performance on Saturday for family and friends to enjoy.
