Need extra weeks of summer camp? Here are Tampa Bay programs you can book now!

With schools in the Tampa Bay Area pushing the start date by a few weeks, you might be finding yourself scrambling to find childcare coverage to get you through those few weeks. There are several summer camp programs in the Tampa Bay Area offering extended weeks of programming!

We’re sharing some of our favorites, listed in alphabetical order. Enjoy!


Bayside Sports Academy

Weeks: through August 21, 7:45am-6:00 pm

Cost: $140-$330

Gymnastics Camp Weekly Full($190) or Half Day($140): Campers will learn basic gymnastics skills on the bars, balance beams, vault, rings, spring & rod floors, and trampolines!

Ninja Camp Weekly Half Day($165), Combined with Gymnastics Camp for Weekly Full Days($230), or Combined with another Specialty Camp for Full Days($330): Campers will learn speed precision, strength, and agility while enjoying a fun-filled time running, jumping, landing , and rolling. They will be challenged with obstacles on our ninja rig, warped walls, quad steps, assorted hanging obstacles, and more!

Circus Arts Camp Weekly Half Day($165), Combined with Gymnastics Camp for Weekly Full Days($230), or Combined with another Specialty Camp for Full Days($330): Campers will safely learn skills on the aerial silks, fixed trapeze, and lyra. they will also be doing acrobatics, hand balancing, and various skills seen in circus shows!

Trampoline & Tumbling Camp Weekly Half Day($165), Combined with Gymnastics Camp for Weekly Full Days($230), or Combined with another Specialty Camp for Full Days($330): Do your kids love to jump, bounce, and tumble around? Campers will learn jumps & skills on our Olympic-style trampoline, double mini trampoline, and rod floors based on their skill level and ability. They will also learn tumbling utilizing our spring floors, tumble track trampolines, and tumbling mats!

BEST Horse Camp at West Coast Morgans

Weeks: through August 21, 9:30 am-4:00 pm

Cost: $80-$500

WCM has adjusted the 2020 BEST Horse Camp to include social distancing, more riding and outside time, lots of disinfection and camper separation protocols to protect everyone as best as possible! Spaces are limited due to the logistical changes but the camp experience is still amazing! WCM Horse Camp is fantastic! Half and Full days, Single Weeks and Bulk Weeks over Summer and Winter Breaks, and family discounts! Beginners through Advanced riders, Different Weekly Themes and days filled with tons of hands-on horse activities as well as guest speakers and MORE!

Brandon All-Stars

Weeks: through August 21, 9:00 am-4:00 pm

Cost: $125

Campers will enjoy a full day of stretching, tumbling, jumping, games and arts & crafts. All campers will be fully supervised on trampolines, tumble tracks and bounce houses. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons campers will enjoy an activity that correlates with the weekly theme. There are Half Day and Full Day options available.

Our facility is over 14,000 SF so this will allow athletes to exercise social distancing. Campers will use different areas of the gym for different activities during the day. See our Covid-19 Response Page for specific details on our policies and procedures.

Bricks 4 Kidz

Weeks: August 3-21, 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Cost: $150 half day camp and $275 Full Day Camp

August 10th – 14th: Everything is Awesome LEGO® Camp: Week 1
Hillsborough County Schools has pushed back the school start date two weeks, so we have two more weeks of summer fun! This camp will be a mashup of all the fun themes we have done all summer long!
You will experience a different LEGO® theme each day. Your Master Builder will have a chance to create motorized robotic models, 3D color brick builds and LEGO® mosaic art. Have fun building LEGO® dinosaurs from Jurassic World, Batman’s tumbler, Minecraft’s Creepers, or a flying wizard one day, then explore your Jedi powers with Luke Sykwalker the next! Can’t decide which you like more? Join us for this AWESOME camp and try them ALL!
All campers will take home fun crafts and have photos taken of all the fun LEGO® models they made throughout the week and take home a custom-made LEGO® minifigure!

Camp Invention

Weeks: Every week in August, starts at 9am
Cost: $175

Imaginations soar with our new at-home program, Camp Invention Connect! Children in grades K-6 receive four exciting activity kits packed full of materials to get them outside and active as they explore concepts of flight, tackle environmental challenges, build the ultimate sports complex, design the next great invention and gain confidence as innovators and entrepreneurs! This flexible program reinvents distance learning — it can be screen-free and self-led, or it can be enhanced through online collaboration sessions with Coaches and fellow participants.

Circle C Ranch Academy

Weeks: Until school reopens, 7:00 am-5:30 pm
Cost: $230 Full time/ $170 Part time

We will be continuing camp activities. The children will be horse back riding every day. Swimming once a week. Sports daily. Our goal is to incorporate learning and academic activities for our school age children to get them back in the routine of learning.

Education 1st. Consulting

Weeks: through August 21

Cost: $60.00 for a 2 hour session

Education 1st. offers tutoring in Reading, Math, Spanish and all other subjects for our We work with students that have learning disabilities as well. We also take the Step Up for Students Reading Scholarship.

Glazer Children’s Museum-Camp Imagination

Weeks: through August 21, 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Cost: $265

At Camp Imagination, your little learners imagine, discover, and connect to the world around them. With the school year starting later this year, the Glazer Children’s Museum has decided to add 2 extra weeks of camp to keep the summer fun going before school is back in session! These 2 weeks are going to be a combination of our campers’ favorite activities from throughout the summer with a new theme each day!

Learn to Skate Camp (IC’s Cool Kids Camp)

Cost: $275 + $20 one-time registration fee
2.5 hours on the ice
Two 30-minute, instructed on-ice classes

Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy

Wiggle and Giggle Camp: $155, 9:00am-12:00 pm

MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry)

Camps for completed Kindergartens – 8th graders. MOSI brings science, technology, engineering, arts and math alive through hands-on experiments and building projects.

Minecraft Mania

You’ve dug dirt, punched a tree, slayed a zombie or twenty…now it’s time to put those skills to the test in MOSI’s Minecraft Mania! Play on custom-designed individual and multiplayer worlds and scenarios found only at MOSI. Find new adventures and learn useful tips and tricks that will guide you on becoming a Minecraft Designer, Adventurer, and even Master.

Practically Pikasso 

Weeks: August 3-21, 9:30 am-4:00 pm
Cost: $275 Full Day/$175 Half Day

Campers will learn about art process, technique and art history while having tons of fun exploring and expanding their creativity. This is a genuine art camp and art is our passion! We focus on the experience over the outcome during projects which include but are not limited to pottery, canvas, clay, water color, oil pastel, board art, yarn, weaving and more. Park visits with outdoor art activities are included throughout the week weather permitting.

YMCA of the Suncoast

Each week, youth at the Y have time to expand their imagination, build friendships, and master new activities. Physical activity, art projects, science experiments, and outdoor education are incorporated at all of our locations and aligned to weekly themes. Youth at the Y enjoy an active schedule and spend a significant amount of their day outdoors. We understand that many children will be working to stay on-track academically and will provide time at the Y to work on assignments from the school and provide complimentary learning opportunities too.

Kids at the Y have fun, get exercise, and feel well-cared for — as always! We are offering a program this summer with enhanced health procedures that are aligned with the information and guidelines we receive from the CDC, State of Florida, and local governments, to help protect participants, parents, and Y team members.

YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg
