10 Ideas for Non-Candy Valentine’s Day Cards

If you are in search of non-candy Valentine’s Day ideas, look no further! We are loving these creative options. We also love how cost-effective they are! You don’t have to spend a fortune to create something cute. Searching online for free printables or using sites like Canva are great for creating cards and tags.

We still love the old-fashioned Valentine’s Day cards too, so don’t feel badly if you don’t have the time to put these together! We’re not all Pinteresty moms, but it sure is fun to see how other people are putting their imaginations to work! Whether you are going to buy or DIY, here are some fun ideas for Valentine’s Day this year!

Color Your Heart Out Crayon Valentines

If you have little ones, you probably take crayons with you everywhere you go! For these colorful Valentines, buy a large box of crayons and split them up into small treat bags that you can easily find at any craft store or on Amazon.

Character Pencil Valentines

When you have school-aged kids, you know that you can never have enough pencils laying around! Sites like Amazon are perfect to order pencils in bulk that feature your child’s favorite character. You can either create your own cards or buy store bought ones and attach. Easy peasy!

Fruit Snack Valentines

Still want to opt for a sweet treat? These lunchbox staples have half the sugar content of their candy counterparts and several brands are allergy-friendly. They also come in a variety of flavors and characters!

Kids love kinetic sand! The colorful, squishy sand is super moldable and cleans up easily. We love this idea from Smart School House as an alternative to cards. The small cups and lids can be bought online or at any party supply store. Since kinetic sand is sold in large bags, it’s easy to divvy up between the cups. Grab some sticker paper and download these free printables!
