FREE Newborn Care Class At St. Petersburg General Hospital

Whether you are expecting your first child or simply looking for some guidance with a new addition to your growing family, it is always important to be as prepared as possible to care for your newborn. The St. Petersburg General Hospital understands this, which is why they offer a newborn care class at no cost. They even offer a “First Year Baby Care manual” for $20, in order to help parents feel their best as they venture onto the journey of parenthood.

This one night class is offered throughout the year, and includes knowledge every parent of a newborn needs to know. You will learn all of the baby care basics, including newborn characteristics, growth and development, infant safety, and the joys of parenting. Any parent expecting a newborn would find this class worthwhile, as it will help you understand your newborn, keep them safe, and the joy your newborn will bring.

The next class is scheduled for July 6, but seats fill quickly, so register today! Check St. Petersburg General Hospital’s website to learn about upcoming Newborn Care Classes and more at
