From ICE To The Sun Equals Family Fun! Gaylord Palms Heats it up again with ICE!

This year’s ICE at Gaylord Palms Resort was hotter than ever or should I say “Colder than ever!” With 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, the scenic artistry of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas theme literally froze you in your tracks. Not only did each Ice Scene provide impressive attention to detail by the use of vibrant colors and creative designs, but each scene was enhanced by the carefully selected music and lights intertwined to make a phenomenal ICE experience. What better way to slide into the New Year than to go down one of the 4 two-story solid ice slides or go Alpine Rush Snow Tubing down a surprisingly fast and fun slope.

The Holidays in Orlando is are filled with a lot of fun and whimsical wonderment for the entire family at the Gaylord Palms Resort.

Tips: Even though warm coats with hoods are provided, they do not provide gloves or other winter accessories. So, at a chilly 9 degrees, I strongly encourage you to pack a pair of mittens in your suitcase or bag and place it right next to your bikini, because after ICE, it’s time to defrost in the Florida SUN!

Let’s go from ICE to SUN! If you have the opportunity to stay a little longer at Gaylord Palms Resort, it definitely provides a family friendly luxurious experience. Feel free to quickly defrost from ICE at the Cypress Water Park Pool with 4 water slides and water fountains shooting from every direction. Finally don’t forget to check out their Seasonal Build-a-Bear shop, Cirque Dreams Performers, Gingerbread House Decorating Center and the Lighting of the immense and beautiful center Christmas Tree every night.

Gaylord Palms Resort presents ICE and so much more!
