The High Risk Hope Tot Trot is back again this year for another day of fun! For the past couple years, the Tot Trot has been a wonderful way for the Tampa Community to raise awareness and support High Risk Hope in the fight to help those experiencing high risk pregnancies and premature births.
The Tot Trot is a non-competitive 3k that the whole family can join! Children young and old can walk, run, bike or trike with their parents for the whole 3k or for half of it. If your child wants to experience the 3k on wheels, whether it’s a bicycle, a tricycle or a wagon, they must be equipped with the proper safety equipment! Make sure your child is wearing a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads. You can even decorate your wheels for a little bit of extra fun.
And that’s not all! There will also be many activities for children, including fire truck and ambulance tours, bounce houses, a toddler play area and character appearances, like Elsa and Anna. Everyone will be able to dance with DJ Jake Dela Cruz joining in on the fun, as well. There will be food provided by PDQ and Caspers Company/McDonalds.
If you want to get others involved in helping this cause, High Risk Hope has just the thing for you! To entice others to join the Tot Trot or to donate, you can “Boo” them! You can Boo a friend by sending them this flyer and get them involved too!
This year, the Tot Trot will be held on Saturday, November 11 at Gadsden Park. The actual trot will begin at 9:30am, but check in will begin at 8:30am. Participants can pre-register online for $25 for adults and $15 for children aged 5 to 12. For children 4 and under, registration is free. On the day of, registration will go up. There is also an opportunity for you to volunteer at the Tot Trot.
Remember, November is prematurity awareness month and what better way is there to spread awareness than by participating in the Tot Trot!
