It’s that time of year again! Halloween is coming, so get ready to celebrate everyone’s favorite spooky holiday. And what is a Halloween celebration without a few pumpkins and scarecrows? This year, you can get that and more at the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival in Bradenton!
Join the festivities on any Saturday or Sunday in October from 9am to 5pm for $10 admission, with free admission for children under 12. This event is for the whole family, so feel free to bring children of all ages or come with friends!
The Pumpkin Festival will feature a variety of events, so your child will not be bored for even a moment. Children can enjoy many activities that are free with admission, including a petting zoo, hayrides, scarecrow displays, craft shows, a playground and more. There are also many activities, including a corn maze, a rock climbing wall, a zip line and more that are available at an additional cost. Parents, too, can enjoy the festivities with live entertainment, food, and the Pioneer Trades Village.
We all know that October is a month full of sweets, treats and celebrations for Fall and Halloween. But, it is also Down Syndrome Awareness Month. This year, on October 21st at the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival, you can also participate in the Buddy Walk, a walk held across the world to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down Syndrome. Walkers can register for $15, while children under 2 and those who have Down Syndrome can participate for free.

The Pumpkin Festival will also feature a Costume Contest on October 29th. After the contest, children in costume will be able to trick or treat at certain locations throughout the grounds.
