Kids embark on an educational travel adventure…from home!

Educational gifts for kids

Trying to find the perfect gift for my seven and eleven year old nephews has been a challenge.   Since I’m the cool aunt, I’m always on the lookout for something awesome to make them say WOW but I also want the presents to have an educational twist.  A present that will keep the kiddos engaged even though I am hundreds of miles away.  At long last, I found Little Passports and am thrilled with my find.Little Passports is a global trekking subscription based adventure in a box.  The USA edition is designed for 7 to 12 year olds and the World Edition is geared for 5 to 10 year olds.  Subscriptions are available in a three, six or twelve month package as well as a month to month plan so you can test out Little Passports before you make a big commitment.

The first USA edition mailing arrives in a slick, hold everything portfolio and includes a welcome letter from Sofia and Sam, the adventurous travel guides who will embark on a new adventure with your kiddos each month.  There’s also a detailed Field Guide to record facts about the United States as you receive them, a colorful USA Scratch Book, a wall map to chart your adventures, and a disposable camera.  The disposable camera seems a bit out of date but I like the old school aspect of waiting for the photos to come back.  Reminds me of when my brother and I were kids!

After the first mailing, the kids will receive information, postcards, stickers, and fun activities about two different states, like Florida and Oregon.  Every kid I know loves to get something special in the mail which makes this a fabulous gift for far away family and friends.  It will be fun to hear about my nephews adventures throughout the year.  If they learn something too, even better.  Happy travels!

The Little Passports USA Edition includes a Field Guide, disposable camera, map, and more!
