Build and Play During MOSI’s Rockets’ Red Glare Festival!

MOSI is launching its Rockets’ Red Glare Festival this Saturday, June 18th with a special invititation to meet real rocket engineers from NASA from 11am-3pm! They’ll teach you and your child how to design, build and launch a paper rocket 100 feet into the air! Be sure to bring dad to celebrate Father’s Day since dads get in for FREE this weekend (June 18 & 19) with a child’s paid admission!

The paper rocket building fun will continue with instruction from MOSI staff during the festival weekends, June 24,25 and July 1, 2! Once you’ve gained your rocket building skills, be sure to stop by the live demo to discover the science behind fireworks so you can wow your friends with fun fireworks facts on Independence Day!

This is also th perfect opportunity to learn and play at the Cardboard Space Adventures exhibit which will be on display through August 13. Did you know the cardboard structure that MOSI staff created is so large, it could beat the Guinness World Book of Records for largest cardboard structure!?! How cool is that??

MOSI’s Rockets’ Red Glare Festival is included with MOSI admission, as is MOSI’s summer exhibit Cardboard Space Adventures, so be sure to visit while you can! For more information, visit
