Tampa Bay attractions going LIVE on social to keep us connected in quarantine

By now, we’re all experiencing a bit of miss out syndrome only…we’re ALL missing out on experiencing our favorite places in Tampa Bay. But, social media is coming to the rescue.

Attractions all across Tampa Bay and USA are keeping us connected in quarantine with fun and interactive Facebook Lives to take us behind the scenes and teach us something new.

The Florida Aquarium launched SEA-SPAN this week with daily Facebook Lives at 10am. ZooTampa and Busch Gardens are also connecting with families with live interviews and more! Even though all of our favorite spots are temporarily closed as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19, the animal care teams are still hard at work caring for the animals.

It’s really kinda cool to be able to interact with them live, so don’t be bashful with your questions!

MOSI is also going Virtual on its Facebook pages beginning on Monday! You can learn more about the schedule they have planned for you! It’s awesome!

Even if you miss the Facebook Lives, they’re still available to watch on replay! We’ve been doing this with our kids and they’ve loved it!

We also love the video series Glazer Children’s Museum recently launched: GCM At Home!

We just want to give a shoutout to all of our local favorites for keeping us connected. This is an incredibly tough time for so many families, but we’re going to get through this. We recently created a virtual village to share ideas amongst each other–so please join in on the conversation on our new Facebook Group: BRIGHT IDEAS | Parenting in Quarantine.
