It’s finally fall, y’all! We are sharing our TOP PICKS of must-experience pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Tampa Bay to get you into the spirit of the season.

Keep in mind, in some cases, you may need to buy an advanced ticket online (and buying a pumpkin patch pumpkin is often extra). Since a pumpkin patch is an open-air event, it’s a great option for families looking for a safe way to celebrate the season.

(Listed in order of opening date because we know a lot of you like to get started early! Also-be sure to check in with your chosen farm’s social media sites because some do sell out of tickets on certain days–easy to say we’re all excited about fall, y’all!)

Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Polk City

Come out for a fun fall tradition and stroll the fields of this year’s corn maze and pumpkin patch at Harvest Holler Farm, a working family farm! You can explore the pumpkin patch, go on a hayride, enjoy some country eats, meet live farm animals and more! There’s also a cow train, corn hole and many more activities besides just the pumpkin patch.

Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees

Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch’ for your home at their pumpkin patch! You can also pick up a yummy homemade pie and even feed goats in the goat pen. Before you leave, be sure you snap a photo in front of the popular vintage pick up truck. Although there is no charge to take pictures, a reservation for a photo opp is required. Learn more here. Raprager Family Farm Fall Pumpkin Festival

Enjoy a day at this family-owned Tampa Bay area pumpkin patch along with fun activities like a haunted children’s crop maze, hayrides, animals and more! Watermelon Swim’s Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch

It’s watermelon season, Tampa Bay! You can visit Watermelon Swim’s Pumpkin Patch daily in Lutz and South Tampa and then come back to experience their annual Fall Festival at both locations. The FREE Fall Festival at the Lutz and South Tampa locations will feature trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, plenty of fall games and prizes, the cutest fall photo spot and more. It’s the perfect way to get your whole family into the fall spirit.

Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch

Hyde Park Village in south Tampa is bringing back its popular pumpkin patch benefiting the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Be on the look out for a designated pumpkin patch photo op, too! You can learn more here!

Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

A quick hop down to Sarasota to check out Fruitville Grove’s 33rd Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival might be just the change of pace and scenery you and your bunch of little pumpkins need!  Held every weekend throughout October, it includes fun family-friendly activities, a butterfly garden, pony rides, and of course, a Pumpkin Patch! There will be a children’s costume contest every Saturday at 2pm.

If you can’t make it on the weekend, not to worry because the farm market and pumpkin patch are always open during the week to pick out a pumpkin, fall decorations or grab some local farm-fresh produce and snap your annual family photos in the pumpkin patch.

Dave’s Christmas Tree Lot Pumpkin Patch

It’s not officially fall until you’ve visited our pumpkin patch in October! Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival

About an hour east of Tampa, just north from Walt Disney World is the cutest farm/fall festival for families! This year’s 6th Annual Fall Festival at Southern Hill Farms will feature a new 5-acre corn maze, u-pick sunflowers and zinnias, a pumpkin patch barn, kids zone, and more. You can even taste the yummy apple cider donuts.

Pumpkin Patch at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay

Visit the Pumpkin Patch and support animals who are in need of a home…it’s a win-win! You’ll find the pumpkin patch is under the white tent outside of the intake parking garage. There are so many pumpkins to choose from, even varieties like Cinderella, painted pumpkins, white pumpkins & gourds. Pumpkin prices range from $1 – $20 each. Of course, all proceeds benefit the homeless animals in need.

Brooksville Pumpkin Patch

October 1- October 31, 2021, Fri: 4pm-9pm, Sat: 10am-5pm, and Sun: 1pm-5pm

The Brooksville pumpkin patch has hundreds–if not thousands of pumpkins–to choose from! The farm says most of their pumpkin deliveries are a few days off the vine, so they should last you through the holiday…and maybe even grab some cute ones for decor for Thanksgiving. They also have food vendors, produce, a petting zoo, tortoise experience, and more. On select dates, Cinderella, Spiderman, and Captain Marvel will even be visiting! There’s also a petting farm and tree house. Bring some extra cash in case the little ones decide they want to participate in gem mining or even pick out their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! Pack a lunch and enjoy a fun day trip to the Pickin’ Pumpkin Patch, located in Tampa Bay’s Dunnellon, Florida, where you can pick your very own white pumpkin from the pumpkin patch vine, as well as fall sunflowers and gourds. Bring your own wagon and clippers and be sure to practice social distancing. You can purchase your pumpkin patch tickets online and bring your printed ticket to the farm to ensure a touchless experience.

Bearss Groves Pumpkin Patch in Tampa

We are loving this unique spot where you can take adorable pictures, including one with a 350 pound pumpkin! You can’t take that pumpkin home, but they have plenty more for you to choose from their pumpkin patch! They also have flowers and other produce to browse. Kerby’s Nursery Pumpkin Patch in Seffner
Open Monday-Saturday in October from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Sun from 11-42311 S. Parsons Avenue, SeffnerKerby’s Nursery has a variety of beautiful pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, mums and more! And don’t forget to snap a photo in front of the pumpkin wall!

Hydro Harvest Pumpkin Patch

This pumpkin patch is open Tuesday-Sunday. Tons of Jack O Lanterns, gourds, hay bales, cornstalks and of course some not so spooky friends will be there, watching over the pumpkin patch day and night. Pumpkin Patch at the St. Pete Pier

Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival

Make the drive south of Tampa Bay to experience the 30th annual Pumpkin Patch Festival on select weekends in October. There will be hayrides, a petting zoo, games, pumpkin patch and more! The main attraction is the corn maze which is an additional $2 per person. Make sure to bring cash for other cool activities like a children’s train ride, Butterfly Experience, zip line and more!

Pumpkin Patch Express (Florida Railroad Museum)

The Florida Railroad Museum is calling “all aboard” for young and old train enthusiasts as you embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express to a field full of pumpkins to pick, as well as kid-friendly activities on your 2.5 hour journey. Trains will run at 50% capacity to ensure room to social distance. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in other crafts and activities

House Power for Kids and Animal Sanctuary 14th annual Fall Festival fundraiser

Celebrate the season outdoors at the Armature Works Fall Festival benefiting Metropolitan Ministries. Cracker Country Living History Museum Presents Fourth Annual Tale Tales of Old Florida

Explore Tampa’s 19th century living history museum by night.  Along the way, meet storytellers who will spin wild yarns about a few of Florida’s unexplained oddities!  A little scary, a little funny and always family friendly, the Tall Tales tour is a Florida history adventure by lantern light. Guests are invited to come early and enjoy Victorian games and activities before their tour begins. Afterward, have a complimentary snack and do some holiday shopping in the General Store. South Tampa Farm’s Fall Festival

Come and celebrate fall at South Tampa Farm! Admission includes a pumpkin patch, farm animals, live music, bounce house, photo booth, and local artists and vendors. Guests can purchase tickets for the dunk tank, games, crafts, cake walk, food, apple cider, raffles, kids daytime hayride and haunted evening hayride. Wesley Chapel Fall Festival

Oct. 30-31 (daily times vary)
The North Tampa Bay Chamber’s 17th Annual Wesley Chapel Fall Festival returns this year with live music and entertainment, crafters, pet costume contest, pumpkin patch, and Halloween activities including a free Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween at 4pm. They will also have the World’s Largest Food Truck Rally with over 70 national food trucks! Taking place this year at the Tampa Premium Outlets, admission is $5 in advance and $10 at the gate.
