The 2021 list of our favorite pumpkin patches, fall festivals, corn mazes, Halloween events and more is ghoulishly good. Added bonus…almost all of these events are OUTDOORS.

So get your calendar out and start scheduling some fall family pumpkin patch FUN! We are continuing to update and tweak the list of events and pumpkin patches as 2021 dates are announced, but check out some that have piqued our interest so far! Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Polk City

Come out for a fun fall tradition and stroll the fields of this year’s corn maze and pumpkin patch at Harvest Holler Farm, a working family farm! You can explore the pumpkin patch, go on a hayride, enjoy some country eats, meet live farm animals and more! There’s also a cow train, corn hole and many more activities besides just the pumpkin patch.


Gallagher’s Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Trees

Opens September 25, 2021

Located in St. Pete for more than 30 years, this family owned business is the perfect spot to capture super cute photos of your little pumpkins while you select the best of the ‘patch’ for your home at their pumpkin patch! You can also pick up a yummy homemade pie and even feed goats in the goat pen. Before you leave, be sure you snap a photo in front of the popular vintage pick up truck. Although there is no charge to take pictures, a reservation for a photo opp is required. Learn more here. Raprager Family Farm Fall Pumpkin Festival

Enjoy a day at this family-owned Tampa Bay area pumpkin patch along with fun activities like a haunted children’s crop maze, hayrides, animals and more! They’ve expanded activities for 2021 with live acts, a gem mining station, new vendors, and more. They even have a haunted barn for the older kids and adults! Learn more:

Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch

Hyde Park Village in south Tampa is bringing back its popular pumpkin patch benefiting the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Be on the look out for a designated pumpkin patch photo op, too! You can learn more here!

Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

A quick hop down to Sarasota to check out Fruitville Grove’s 33rd Annual Pumpkin Patch Festival might be just the change of pace and scenery you and your bunch of little pumpkins need!  Held every weekend throughout October, it includes fun family-friendly activities, a butterfly garden, pony rides, and of course, a Pumpkin Patch! There will be a children’s costume contest every Saturday at 2pm.

If you can’t make it on the weekend, not to worry because the farm market and pumpkin patch are always open during the week to pick out a pumpkin, fall decorations or grab some local farm-fresh produce and snap your annual family photos in the pumpkin patch.

Dave’s Christmas Tree Lot Pumpkin Patch

It’s not officially fall until you’ve visited our pumpkin patch in October! Bring your friends and family out to wander through our rows of pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, highly stacked hay bales, garden mums and much more. Bring the whole family and take as many photos as you like!

Southern Hill Farms Fall Festival

About an hour east of Tampa, just north from Walt Disney World is the cutest farm/fall festival for families! This year’s 6th Annual Fall Festival at Southern Hill Farms will feature a new 5-acre corn maze, u-pick sunflowers and zinnias, a pumpkin patch barn, kids zone, and more. You can even taste the yummy apple cider donuts.

Pumpkin Patch at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay

Visit the Pumpkin Patch and support animals who are in need of a home…it’s a win-win! You’ll find the pumpkin patch is under the white tent outside of the intake parking garage. There are so many pumpkins to choose from, even varieties like Cinderella, painted pumpkins, white pumpkins & gourds. Pumpkin prices range from $1 – $20 each. Of course, all proceeds benefit the homeless animals in need.

Brooksville Pumpkin Patch

October 1- October 31, 2021, Fri: 4pm-9pm, Sat: 10am-5pm, and Sun: 1pm-5pm

The Brooksville pumpkin patch has hundreds–if not thousands of pumpkins–to choose from! The farm says most of their pumpkin deliveries are a few days off the vine, so they should last you through the holiday…and maybe even grab some cute ones for decor for Thanksgiving. They also have food vendors, produce, a petting zoo, tortoise experience, and more. On select dates, Cinderella, Spiderman, and Captain Marvel will even be visiting! You’ll want to pre-purchase a ticket online to secure your spot to navigate the 5-acre corn maze, explore the many attractions like a cow train, pedal cars, and barnyard games. There’s also a petting farm and tree house. Bring some extra cash in case the little ones decide they want to participate in gem mining or even pick out their own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch! The Pickin’ Patch in Dunnellon

Pack a lunch and enjoy a fun day trip to the Pickin’ Pumpkin Patch, located in Tampa Bay’s Dunnellon, Florida, where you can pick your very own white pumpkin from the pumpkin patch vine, as well as fall sunflowers and gourds. Bring your own wagon and clippers and be sure to practice social distancing. You can purchase your pumpkin patch tickets online and bring your printed ticket to the farm to ensure a touchless experience.

Hydro Harvest Pumpkin Patch

This pumpkin patch is open Tuesday-Sunday. Tons of Jack O Lanterns, gourds, hay bales, cornstalks and of course some not so spooky friends will be there, watching over the pumpkin patch day and night. It’s free as always and a great place to take baby’s first Pumpkin Patch Picture. Or Fido’s or Grandmas or anyone’s!

Fox Squirrel Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Take part in exciting, family-friendly fall games and activities during the 11th annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze! Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival

Make the drive south of Tampa Bay to experience the 30th annual Pumpkin Patch Festival on select weekends in October. There will be hayrides, a petting zoo, games, pumpkin patch and more! The main attraction is the corn maze which is an additional $2 per person. Make sure to bring cash for other cool activities like a children’s train ride, Butterfly Experience, zip line and more!


Watermelon Swim’s Annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch

It’s watermelon season, Tampa Bay! And Watermelon Swim’s annual FREE Fall Festival at their Lutz and South Tampa locations are more not-so-spooky fun than ever. Featuring trunk-or-treating, a costume parade, plenty of fall games and prizes, the cutest fall photo spot and more. Plus, their annual FREE Pumpkin Patch will open October 1st and is open all month long! Pick your perfect pumpkin at any of their 4 locations with Lutz and South Tampa featuring a large outdoor patch. It’s the perfect way to get your whole family into the fall spirit.


Pumpkin Patch Express (Florida Railroad Museum)

The Florida Railroad Museum is calling “all aboard” for young and old train enthusiasts as you embark on the Pumpkin Patch Express to a field full of pumpkins to pick, as well as kid-friendly activities on your 2.5 hour journey. Trains will run at 50% capacity to ensure room to social distance. Children are invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home. Everyone is also invited to participate in other crafts and activities

At Sesame Street Kid’s Weekends, fan-favorite friendly monsters are also getting into the Halloween spirit in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun play area at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay! This not-too-spooky event is a perfect way for little ones to celebrate Halloween with their favorite Sesame Street characters. 2021 details haven’t been been released yet, but we know there will be trick-or-treating, photo opps with characters and more!

Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa at Lowry Park

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Florida

Tampa Theatre Presents “A Nightmare on Franklin Street”

Tampa’s most historic (and haunted!) movie palace is celebrating it’s ninth year of their popular Halloween series. Presented by 13 Ugly Men, the series will feature frightening favorites and cult classics such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with a live floor cast. There will also be ghost tours, a “Dark Carnival” mainstage show, and an evening of spooky Campfire Stories under the theatre’s starlit sky. The event kicks off with a FREE screening of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It on October 16th. Patrons are invited to meet two of the film’s Tampa-based stars before the show. On Mondays at 3:00, head over to the theatre for Mummy & Me screenings of family-friendly films such as Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas (free for children ages 12 and under and $7-$10 for adults). On October 30th, adults can enjoy SpiritsFest: Backstage. Patrons can prowl never-before-seen corners of the majestic movie palace and hear tales of Tampa’s dead by Phantasmagoria’s skillful storytellers, with each story being paired with a creepy craft cocktail. Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash at Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is on hiatus again this year, but Disney has improvised with an after hours party that’s sure to delight! The ticketed “Boo Bash” will feature your favorite characters in their Halloween best, complimentary snacks like ice-cream and popcorn, lower wait times for rides, specialty food and drink items and more! Halloween Spree at Glazer Children’s Museum

Bring your little ghouls and goblins to GCM to enjoy safe indoor trick-or-treating, spooky crafts, costume parades, and the annual Team GCM Pumpkin Decorating Contest! GCM participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project so keep an eye out for stations with teal pumpkins, where your little ones will receive non-edible goodies.

Sensory-Friendly Halloween Spree at Glazer Children’s Museum

Monster mash – it’s an aquarium smash! Kiddos can dress up in their favorite costumes and explore the Aquarium during this special sensory-friendly event. Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City

It’s officially that time of year! Scream-A-Geddon is returning to Dade City to terrify guests once again with haunted house attractions and creepy crawlies wandering the grounds to give you your first frights of the season. There are a total of SIX attractions to terrify you including NEW ones. *Please don’t bring little kiddos to this—it’s quite intense and there’s no pumpkin patch here.

Haunted River Tours with Pirate Water Taxi

Join Pirate Water Taxi’s crew for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by two dead-lightful docents who will tell eerie stories of Tampa’s past. Admission is included with a regular daily hop-on, hop-off pass. Haunted River Tours are family friendly and all ages welcomed!


Halloween Lights at Sylvan Ramble

The tradition continues this year at the Sylvan Ramble House with a Halloween inspired light display and show that will leave you in awe! Reservations are slated for 40 people per half hour show which begins at 8:00 p.m. This year’s benefiting charity is Clothes to Kids for Halloween. House Power for Kids and Animal Sanctuary 14th annual Fall Festival fundraiser

Cost: $12 admission, $1 parking
Bring the family out for a day of fun, while supporting a non-profit animal sanctuary right outside the Westchase area. The festival includes pony, train and hay rides, as well as farm animals. Fall games and bon fire, which includes marshmallows. Proceeds go to the animal rescue and sanctuary.


Shimmering Lights Fall Festival

This is a unique way to celebrate the fall season on the farm! Sun Kisses Acres is teaming up with Nights of Shimmering Lights to create a 1/4 mile walk through trail featuring beautiful lights, music, games, hay rides, pumpkin patches and more! The light trail is not-so-scary and suitable for kids of all ages! Learn more here.

Scarecrow Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum

Take part in fall games and activities as a family at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village in Dade City. Paint a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, make a scarecrow, visit the petting zoo, take a pony ride, pose for a photo with a scarecrow, touch a truck, get your face painted and go on carnival rides and more!  No pets, coolers, food or beverages allowed.

4th Annual Heights Fall Festival  at Armature Works in Tampa

Celebrate the season outdoors at the Armature Works Fall Festival benefiting Metropolitan Ministries. There will be a pumpkin patch for the cutest fall photos with your cuties, live music, craft beer and plenty of kids activities. You’ll also be able to shop local vendors and even the flower truck.

Frazier Farms Fall Festival and Corn Fest in Brooksville

Pumpkin Carving Contest at Largo Community Center

Help decorate the Largo Community Center with your masterpiece. Leave your carved pumpkin at the center for 1-week where it will be seen and judged by our community. Friday Night Halloween Party at Highland Recreation Complex

Pumpkin Fest at Florida Botanical Gardens

The North Tampa Bay Chamber’s 17th Annual Wesley Chapel Fall Festival returns this year with live music and entertainment, crafters, pet costume contest, pumpkin patch, and Halloween activities including a free Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween at 4pm. Riverwalk Trick or Treat and Halloween Lighted Boat Parade in Downtown Tampa

Come on out to the Tampa Riverwalk for a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, Trick or Treat event with 50+ treat stations and then stick around for the new Halloween Lighted Boat Parade in partnership with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation.


Halloween on Central in St Pete | October 31 from noon-5:00 pm

22 blocks in St. Pete will be closed to traffic for a chance for families to trick or treat in the street! There will also be costume contests and festival activities. Day of Discovery Trick or Treat at MOSI

October 10, 2020 from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
For the first time this year, MOSI will open its doors for a Day of Discovery Halloween event on Saturday, October 10th from 8am – 10am for a sensory friendly Trick or Treat. MOSI will set up a low stress environment of lights and sounds and invite guests to trick or treat throughout the museum.  The event will also allow children to meet our astronaut.  Moonbase Mike, as well as enjoy some treats that are organic, gluten free and dye free.  Doors open to the general public at 10am, and Day of Discovery guests are welcome to stay. Day of Discovery events continue to support and positively impact children and families of all abilities, and celebrate the spirit of inclusion in the Tampa Bay community. Proper accommodations will be in place to ensure social distancing as well as providing a safe and clean environment for guests.  No pumpkin patch.


Haunted Wharf at Sparkman Wharf in Tampa

Guest ages 5 and older will need to wear a face mask.

This year’s event is a bit different to keep things safe for trick-or-treaters. You can drive through the Helen Howarth Community Park! The City of Pinellas Park has purchased 2,000 pumpkins for kiddos to fill with sweet treats which will be given to them in a contactless way.
