Sea Monsters at MOSI

MOSI Sea MonstersVenture under the sea with your family without leaving the safety of the shore at MOSI!  The world premiere exhibit, Sea Monsters Revealed, gives visitors an amazing view of more than 150 sea specimens from a totally new perspective.

For the first time ever, peek inside to see how these impressive sea creatures move, breathe, eat, and sleep.  Sea Monsters Revealed uses the “plastination” preservation technique to showcase 18 full body sea creatures.  The 6-foot-wide manta ray and 15-foot-long mako shark will have your kids asking all sorts of questions.  Fortunately, there are plenty of interactive, high tech displays set at kid and adult heights so everyone can explore and learn at their level.  The touch tank at the end of the exhibit is an added treat!

For more underwater adventures at MOSI, be sure to get tickets for the Under the Sea IMAX movie. Narrated by Jim Carrey, the movie features exotic locations, beautiful sea creatures, and explains how global climate changes are reshaping our oceans.

Tickets for Sea Monsters Revealed are $18.95 for adults, $16.95 for seniors (60+) and $12.95 for children (2-12). Guests can add MOSI general exhibits or a documentary IMAX film to their Sea Monsters Revealed ticket for $5 each. MOSI Member tickets are $14.95 for adults and $11.95 for children (2-12).
