Support Local Kids through the Recycled Tunes Program

Check your closets and dust off your old musical instruments, because that old clarinet or guitar has a whole lot of life left in it that can help change the life of a local student through music. The Gasparilla Music Festival’s Recycled Tunes program is hosting an Instrument Drive on Saturday, February 4th at Channelside Bay Plaza to collect gently used instruments which will benefit Hillsborough County schools. If you happen to have a piano you are trying to donate, be sure to contact event organizers ahead of time at

Bonus-if you donate an instrument, you’ll receive a FREE 2 day ticket to the Gasparilla Music Festival which takes place March 11-12 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Even if you don’t have an instrument to donate, still plan to bring the kids to enjoy a day of live music and family-friendly activities courtesy of the Patel Conservatory.

Live Performances by:

SUGAR RUSH – Pop/rock

Recycled Tunes was created by the non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation to give underserved children access to musical instruments. There are several instrument drives held throughout the year, so stay tuned!
