The Toy Insider Reveals The Hottest Toys For 2021!

The holiday season is right around the corner! The Toy Insider has just unveiled its expert picks for the best toys, games, and gifts in its 16th annual Holiday Gift Guide. The toys are broken down into three categories: the Hot 20 (most wished-for items of the year), the STEM 10 (science, technology, engineering, and math toys that make learning fun) and the 12 Under $20.

Although it’s still early, starting your holiday shopping now may be you best bet. Ongoing supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic may not only limit the number of toys available, but may also drive up price tags to compensate for increased manufacturing and shipping costs. “While we always recommend shopping early to avoid disappointment, this year brings a unique challenge,” said Laurie Schacht, Chief Toy Officer, the Toy Insider. “Due to supply chain disruptions across all categories of consumer products, it is impossible to predict if or when particular toys will be restocked once they sell out. If you’ve got a wish list full of must-have toys, it’s never too early to begin shopping.”

This year’s guide includes an assortment of tech-forward toys with educational benefits, engaging playthings inspiring kids’ future careers, activity kits for hands-on fun at home, and toys to encourage families to play together. Below are the toys that made the list. Happy shopping!
