You’ll notice the enhancements as soon as you walk into the park. EARidescent accents can be spotted throughout the park and even Cinderella’s Castle got a magical makeover.

You’ll also see Mickey, Minnie and friends dressed in their EARidescent best.

Disney chefs have been hard at work creating pixie dust magic in the kitchens, offering 70+ items at Magic Kingdom alone in honor of ‘The World’s Most Magical Celebration’.

We caught up with David Nguyen, a chef at Magic Kingdom to dish on some of the items that caught our eyes:

Most nostalgic: Penny Press Silk Pie at Casey’s Corner: “This is iconic because one of two reasons. One, one of Walt Disney’s favorite desserts was chocolate silk pie and two—our penny press machines, you’ll find throughout the parks.”

The Toad Burger at Friar’s Nook:  “Mr. Toad was an iconic character in an opening day attraction for us and we wanted to pay homage to that and what we have here—over at Friar’s Nook is a burger that’s loaded with cheese, lettuce and tomato—and then we wanted to make it look like Mr. Toad so the eyes are two olives and an the tongue is the pickle.”

Most Unique: Squid’s Revenge-at Be Our Guest Restaurant “This is a michelada [Bloody Mary with beer rather than vodka]—and out of it, you’ll notice the octopus tentacle –so if you look back at one of the opening attractions was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, this is where we get our inspiration from and we asked our guests and cast members—what do you think about that ride, what do you remember and at the end of the ride when the squid is trying to take the submarine down and escapes—that’s where we got our inspiration from.”

Stick around after sunset to see the ALL NEW nighttime spectacular ‘Disney Enchantment’ which lights up the sky and Main Street in ways you’ve never seen before. The show will feature inspiring music, enhanced lighting, fireworks, and “immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.”! It’s a sight to see.

The new nighttime show “Harmonious” is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park. Pretty cool, right??

The show is centered in the lagoon of World Showcase and uses a spectacular a mix of pyrotechnics, fountains, and lighting. It truly is beautiful. The songs you’ll hear will be in more than 12 different languages as sung by 240 artists from around the world.

Another exciting addition at EPCOT debuts in time for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”– The new ride in the France pavilion, ‘Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” will welcome guests and shrink them down to the size of Remy and take them on an immersive journey through Gasteau’s kitchen. It’s an awesome ride that uses a combo of screen projections and props we think the kids will love!

A new restaurant is also opening inside the France pavilion, La Crêperie de Paris. We got a chance to sample some of the delicious galettes and crepes and the are absolutely scrumptious, satisfying your sweet and savory cravings. The restaurant offers table service and takeaway options.

Point your eyes toward the iconic Spaceship Earth has all new lighting, “connecting to one another in a symbol of optimism resembling stars in a nighttime sky”. This is a feature that is permanent to Spaceship Earth.
