MOSI Goes Virtual beginning Monday, March 23!

While temporarily closed, MOSI still plans to carry out its mission by making science real for all people, of all ages and backgrounds, by creating on line field trips as well as outreach educational programs, via Virtual MOSI.

Virtual MOSI will be a daily Facebook Live on the MOSI in Motion Facebook page as well as MOSI Tampa Facebook Page. After these live videos, content will also then be posted on the MOSI Instagram page: @mosi_tampa

Currently, MOSI has planned the first two weeks of content.  Each Facebook Live Video will have 15 minutes of demo/hands-on activities/ideas they can do at home about a concept and then allow time for questions helping engage our community of families who are at home.

On Fridays MOSI will have “Fieldtrip Fridays” where we will go in the museum and feature some of the exhibits and the science behind them.

Here is the content plan for Virtual MOSI as of now. More content will be developed to meet on going needs. (subjects and dates may change slightly if needed based on any operational needs related to the current COVID-19 situation and ensuring the health of staff.
