Welcome 2021 with fireworks

Wave goodbye to 2020 and welcome 2021 with a special fireworks display on New Year’s Eve which is exclusive to overnight guests. Omni Orlando Resort has an impressive holiday fireworks display and you may even be able to watch the display from the comfort of your own room or balcony.

Weather permitting, the fireworks kick off at 9pm on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

Make reservations for a holiday dinner

Forget about cooking an elaborate meal and let someone else do the cooking at one of the property’s signature restaurants. Zen specializes in Chinese cuisine and boasts a sushi and sake bar adults will love, plus a full kids menu for the little ones. Zen is open for dinner Friday and Saturday from 6-10pm. David’s Club is a great choice for families, offering breakfast during select days of the week and dinner daily from 4 – 10pm. Find the most updated hours of operation here.

Holiday dining options include:

  • Christmas Day Dinner Special at David’s Club: Family style multi-course dinner for $65 per person on December 25 from 4-10pm
  • New Year’s Eve Special in David’s Club: 3-course menu with a firework display break at 9pm; $65 per person
  • New Year’s Eve Special at Zen: Half priced hot sake and desserts
  • New Year’s Day  at David’s Club: Family style brunch from 10am – 2pm

Families can also pick up to-go items like sandwiches, salads, sweet scoops of gelato and even s’mores kits (to prepare around the fire pit) from Broadway Deli. Or, enjoy bites delivered to you poolside from Croc’s, which features a hearty kids menu.


Enjoy endless resort amenities

This Four Diamond resort known for leisure and fun boasts multiple activities exclusive to resort guests. Plunge into the resort’s family pool with fountains, a water tower and slide, or enjoy quiet time at the adult pool. Don’t forget to hop into the signature wave pool and the 850-foot lazy river for extra rest and relaxation. All pools are heated. Private poolside cabanas are also available by reservation for an extra fee.

Omni Orlando Resort is known for its two 18-hole championship golf courses. But, the entire family can enjoy this pastime together by checking out the family and beginner-friendly18-hole mini golf course and the 9-hole lighted par 3 pitch and putt course, Champions 9. The latter can be enjoyed at nighttime until 8:30pm.

Explore nearby holiday lights

Omni Orlando Resort is just a 15-minute drive from Downtown Celebration which features nightly “snow” plus holiday decorations and a festive, family-friendly atmosphere that can be enjoyed completely outdoors. It’s equally worthwhile to leave the main downtown area, exploring the surrounding neighborhoods on foot to see holiday light displays. The Lights on Jeater Bend is a legendary neighborhood lights display you won’t want to miss.
