When Your Child Catches Santa – Five Great Responses

Curiosity killed the cat…and it can also kill Santa pretty quickly, as well. Children become excited; they want a sneak peak of the jolly man in red they have heard so much about. So these not-so-sound sleepers with the softest of footsteps just might sneak up on Santa this holiday season. Don’t worry -we have the responses for you!

  1. Mommy and Daddy were checking to see if Santa needed help, but he already came.
  2. Mommy and Daddy are tying to leave each other’s presents under the tree.
  3. Santa has us keeping watch while he’s going back for more presents. Quick, go to bed before he catches you awake!
  4. Santa is behind schedule, so he just dumped the gifts for us to put under the tree.
  5. Mommy and Daddy are actually secret elves of Santa, and you mustn’t tell anyone.

Have you had to make up something on the spot to your child? What did you say? Sound off in the comments!
