Zoo Boo presents Beware in Boo Orleans

French Quarter Phantoms 3D at Zoo Boo!
French Quarter Phantoms 3D at Zoo Boo!

Zoo Boo, Tampa’s largest family friendly Halloween event, is back with a New Orleans theme this year: Beware in Boo Orleans!  The centerpiece of this year’s theme is the all new French Quarter Phantoms 3D Haunted House.  It rates a spooktacular three skulls rating on the zoo’s scare factor scale.  The one skull rating is suitable for children of all ages while the seven skulls are scary to the extreme!   My favorite haunted house is the Little Beasties Bungalow in Wallaroo Station.  This one skull rated treat is a fantastical forest filled with dazzling lights and not-so-scary Halloween decorations.  Have your camera ready to snap some adorable photos!

Admission includes six haunted houses and unlimited free rides.  The Pumpkin Patch Express, Scary-Go-Round, Batty Bumper Boats, and Flyin’ Boo-nanas are ideal for little boys and “ghouls” while the Roarin’ Roller-Ghoster and Flume of Fear appeal to slightly older kids.

Fly over to the Spooky Fun Fair area of the zoo for amusement games, inflatable slides, Kona ice treats and more!  Game tickets are available for purchase at the entrance to the Spooky Fun Fair.

Zoo Boo tickets are $18 for adults (12+) and $14 for children (3-11).  Annual Zoo pass holders receive a discount.  For VIP access to haunted houses and rides, purchase a BooPass at the Main Gate.
